a really amazing anime is code geass!!

it takes place in two places, one being called britannia and other being japan, which has lost all its rights, freedom and it even its name (it was renamed area 11). A 17 year old, britannian prince, named lelouch who was banished by his own father along with his sister nunnally seeks to create a better world in which nunnally can live in. while being caught up in a terrorist attack, he comes accross a girl refferred to by the name C2 (or C.C). A brittannian soldier shoots the C.C on the forehead and just when the soldier is about to kill lelouch, the mysterious girl grabs his arm (still being alive) and gives him the power of geass. with this, lelouch finally has the power he needs to overthrow the brittannian empire. he then takes on the secret identity of zero and forms the order of the black knights.
Shugo Chara is a cute, romantic anime which is about a girl named Amu Hinamori.

Everyone at school thinks Amu is cool and spicy but deep inside she is just a shy girl who's trying to find her true self. one night, she wishes that she had the courage to tell everyone who she really is and because of that wish, three guardian eggs appear. (skips a lot of information). amu joins a group called ''the guardians'' who also have guardian characters. amu and the guardians are the ones who cleanse these things called x-eggs. (skips more information) Amu has a crush on a boy named Tadase, which is the king's chair of the guardians. (skips some more info) the main antagonists of the story are a company that goes by name of ''easter''. Easter is always devising evil schemes and uses a boy named Ikuto Tsukiyomi (who at fist was thought to be the villain but wasnt) to help lure out something called the embryo (an egg that can grant any wish). as i said before, amu has a crush on tadase but in the beginning tadase only notices amu's guardian character. but as time goes on, she gets to know ikuto more and starts to seem like ikuto develops a love interest in Amu.
(i know this show sounds a little corny byt the way am explaining it but trust me, it is really good.
another good show is higurashi no naku koro ni. this anime is a little bit age restricting but it is really interesting if u r into horror and pshycological thrillers. Every year at a festival one person always dies and one goes missing. no one knows the main reason but the town's people belive it's the curse oyashiro sama. the main character in the first season, keichi has just moved into the town a month ago. he soon starts to notice something wierd is going on. every four episodes, the series restarts itself but each time we learn something to wat is actually happening.
Vampire Knight is also a very very good anime if u like romance:

Her fellow guardian, Zero Kiryu, a childhood companion whose parents were killed by a pure-blood vampire, is now determined to kill them all and refuses to trust them. Through a cruel twist of fate, Zero becomes a vampire himself, having been bitten by pure-blood vampire, Shizuka Hio, four years before. Now Yuki must help him fight his curse, as well as recover the lost memories of her past. She must also discover why Kaname, who leads the group of Night class (all of which are also vampires) at Cross Academy as their President, saved her that night and what deep dark secret he is keeping from her.
I also loved the anime Hellsing (mostly the ova's). This anime is also a bit age restricting and it's very short but it is very good in my opinion.

After several minor and separate incidents involving small time vampires and the Vatican group Iscariot, a new group known as the Millennium, remnants of the Nazis, begins their operation and launches attacks on the Hellsing headquarters.

Throughout their journey, they meet many antagonists, including those who are willing to do anything to obtain the Philosopher's Stone; Scar, one of the few surviving Ishbalans, who seeks vengeance on the State Alchemists for the destruction of his race; and the homunculi, a group of human-like creatures who carry pieces of the Philosopher's Stone inside themselves, and from it derive the ability to survive almost any harm.
