I found my own rabbit hole in this book. A silly ad on Facebook with the first couple chapters, no title, no author, and I was hooked enough to spend a half hour searching everything I could think of to find the rest of the story.
I am glad to say, it was worth the hunt to finish the story. There are some typos and plot holes that could use an edit or two, but the overall story line made me glad I got to finish what I started.

Here's the link to where I found it to read in its entirety:

I am counting anything and everything on my Goodreads challenge this year.

Even largely unedited Wattpad stories I somehow discover via extremely long Facebook ad teaser/excerpts.

Had potential, so I read the whole thing.

Very cute read for a Wattpad reading. Very High School, but understanding. Typos are a bad, but it is a cute, quick read.

This popped up as an ad in a game I was playing. It was free to read and I was curious as to whether it was actually as horribly written and misogynistic as it seemed. It was pure morbid curiosity. Not only was the writing what I would expect from an "author" called Emo_Girl2017, but it WAS as disturbingly misogynistic as it felt from the blurb. 45 minutes wasted, or not wasted, if I can keep one teenage girl from reading this sh*t and thinking that she needs an "alpha" male to save her. I get that they're werewolves, but also teenage humans (?), and no teenage girl needs to read about how a girl her age, maybe feeling insecure, has to keep her eyes downcast when speaking to or being saved by a dismissive asshole alpha male. I didn't think Twilight could get worse but guess what? It can! Girls: your existence, your life, your happiness, the things you are capable of; they're not dependant on any man (or emo teenage werewolf). This is pure sh*t and I cannot comprehend any rating above 1 star. It is unfortunate that negative ratings aren't allowed.

No me crean, pero sospecho, que este libro fue escrito por una inteligencia artificial, basándose en todos los algoritmos de clichés de novelas eróticas románticas.

The story is interesting and has potential, but the writing is awful and continually jumps around. There is also a cringe worthy amount of typos and lack of important detail.

Not bad. A quick read to pass the time. I think Rose should of had more done to her but that's just revenge talking.

This was literally something I had started reading on facebook and I was so intrigued I had to find the rest of the story. Lol. it wason wattpad so I breezed through it. it was a cute, very short story, about a woman who is 'unwanted' by her mate. Which of course, is devastating considering your freaking soulmate is telling you they dont want to be with you. Then she meet another man who is her unwanted mate's alpha, which causes tension cause yeah, of course. I dont really want to give away too many spoilers though this was a very short and quick read. It was cute and heartfelt. The story itself pulls you in, the characters. THe writing was easy and fast paced. I think I would have enjoyed more depth and detailed, but hey, get what you get and dont throw a fit. Overall, very cute and heartfelt quick read.

I am so DISAPPOINTED.... This book has so much potential.... Just as I really start getting into this short story it goes into a HEA.... Like I thought the author would really play in the love triangle. There could be so much to this story but instead it will honestly leave you feeling empty and disappointed.

I looked over the typos and some timeline issues but this book definitely needs some work on editing. IMO it needs a make over completely.

I thought there would be a part for her to get to know Elijah and then the little tid bit that none mates can't have babies lead me to believe that Raine might reconsider.... And this girl needs a voice. I could not connect with the characters because lack of detail and raine barely has a voice and she is the MC.... Pretty much pushed into being Luna no really desicion or thinking went into that choice. Ugh. I'm just disappointed.

For this being an unknown author on a random app this was an amazing story and I devoured it. This story is featured on the app called Readict and is a story about a young werewolf girl who gets rejected by her mate because he is in love with someone else.
I felt bad for her true mate in the end though, even though he was stupid for doing what he did...he was the one who ended up alone in the end.
This is definitely worth a read and the app Readict is definitely worth downloading. There are ads but everything is free to read which is great.

I started reading this because of an AD and I was curious to see where it was gonna go. The story was alright. The beginning was engaging but the rest just seemed really rushed. It didn’t help that the story was hella short.

Found this book on facebook. You get a snapshot of boys meets girl, they fall quickly in love, then boy find another girl to replace her. Instantly you fall in step with the main character, Raine, because she has character of heart under extreme pressure.

You had to download the app and each day only 3 quick chapters are released. After 3 days I had to find the full book on line. (Wattpad.com)

The story, characters, and plot are great. They are some misplaced words which slow you down for a second. However the storyline is so good you forgive the hiccups.

This could easily be the next 4 book best selling series like Twilight. The author just needs to learn out to follow through with story lines she has already mapped out. There was a lot of personal upset in the author's life that caused her to pause writting, which is understanding, but she could use those same unexpected things to pop up in her character's lives to draw the storyline out.

I read this book on an app called Readict after getting an advertisem*nt on Facebook. The snippet on Facebook was well done, it was enough that I searched it out to read more. The next few chapters on Readict were good, but then it took a turn. The grammatical errors, huge plot issues, and the lack of detail and flow very quickly dropped the rating of this story. It was a cute little read, but nothing I would want to spend money on. I know nothing of this author or how it was published so if this was some high school student that published an assignment-then way to go, seriously this was a great first attempted. I would love to read more of your work when your craft is a little more refined. If that is the case please comment below and I will up my star rating. Having no knowledge of the author or publishing information I have to assume that this is an badly written and badly edited piece that deserves the "meh" rating.

I could appreciate the plot (little that there was)......

I did not appreciate the complete ignorance of pacing.....poor grammar, words thrown into a semblance of a sentence, does not make a story. As a writer, you must strive to write the English language in the standard sentence and grammatical form that is expected worldwide. It's not hard - people have editors for a very good reason.

Such a shame as the premise was solid - reading apps such as Dreame are shameful in teaching people how to write and provide meaningful content.

I will no longer support rubbish that encourages up and coming writers to fall into their trap.

So I read this on a free app I'm trying out, and I really wanted to like it. I think that if this writer read a little more Sarah J Maas and a little less Stephanie Meyer it would help. Because the world building and magical rules are there (its totally got Twilighty werewolf vibes). It just need a thorough polish of the grammar/language, more dialogue with less narration, and more scenes to fill in the gaps. It could be really cute! Happy Reading!

I ran across this book through an ad as I was playing a game. After reading the first three chapters of this book I was hooked. I was happy that I already had the Readict app downloaded so I could continue to read it. Once I started reading it I could not put it down. You will find yourself rooting for the two main characters. Then though there are a few situations that will try to end their budding friendship. But they did end up with a HEA.

This is story could use being expanded by a lot, I don't know if there is an overall cannon to the werewolf universe that everyone knows but doesn't talk about but knowing would be more helpful to those new to the genre. Even the characters could use some more history, we get a brief overview but not enough to truly understand them. The author's iteration could use some work too, didn't flow smoothly.

The character of Rose is of a shallow mean girl, but we don't get to see her that often and she doesn't come off as malicious as she should be. It's mentioned briefly that she's the reason Raine is an outcast at school without going into the details. Her only reason was that Rain looked weak, that's not much to go on, there's got to be more to it.
I wish the author had taken the time to write more of Raine's character, instead of starting the story right out the bat with "Oh I found my mate!" I would have like to see more of her life prior to the drama. Her motivation is to feel wanted but I don't feel like we really see that.

I don't think this needed to be a werewolf story, the wolf bit had very little involvement that it could have easily been replaced with normal humans with soulmates. The biology didn't make sense either, if by not procreating with your mate, then no offspring... that seems like the end of the species. At least it wasn't as horny as some other werewolf stories.

When I actually think about the timeline of the story, all the drama happened in the span of a week and the author couldn't really keep it straight. Mostly by having one or two chapters be a day, most of it by having the characters nap or in recovery; and by saying Raine is a Christmas baby but then Christmas Eve happens 3 weeks later.

Overall, I don't think is a stimulating read, just something for fun where a person doesn't have to think about anything for like an hour or two. There's more I can say but I don't want to spoil and/or be overly negative about is.

Very light spoilers; most of it was in the first 3 chapters.

Slight CWs: Being expected to marry and mate with someone right after you turn 17, even if you don’t know them; a never-present father; mother’s death; being rejected; being beaten so much it requires hospitalization.

I saw an ad on one of my games with the beginning of this story. Usually I know enough to look away, but this time I started reading. The ad was for an app called Readict (like Kiss except if you’re using speak screen, it skips a lot). I opened Readict and read the rest of the story in about an hour.

It’s about a 17-year-old girl named Raine who is a werewolf and on her 17th birthday, she finds out her mate is a handsome guy named Elijah. (We don’t know how she finds out. It might be in a letters her mostly absent father leaves her). Unfortunately, he’s been dating Rose for 3 years and he doesn’t want Raine. Also, he knew Raine was his mate but didn’t seek her out or anything because he’s kind of a dick. Some people beat Raine up and Jonathan stops them. It turns out, he’s the future Alpha (which I guess goes through family lines like King and Queen?) so people back off when he tells them to.

That’s the summary of what I read in the app.

The characters aren’t really well-developed, there’s a lot about the werewolf community that isn’t explained or is just made up for convenience (“the only way to solve this is if I kiss her. Darn it.”), and there were many grammatical errors. But it was compelling enough to keep me showing up for each new chapter. Also, it was blessedly short.

My favorite part is that when you reject your mate, it causes them terrible physical pain. And then you can immediately be rid of the feelings that you had for them. And they’ll still feel some physical pain whenever you’re intimate with someone else. That’s a fantastic revenge.

This book came up with the beginning of the story as an advertisem*nt in a game I was playing on my phone. I found myself interested enough to want to keep reading. When I checked out the app reviews that gave access to the book, I wasn't sure if it was worth getting the app to read the rest of the book. I went to the reviews here on Goodreads to see if reading them would help me make a decision as to whether or not I wanted to download the app.

Luckily for me I stumbled upon Alethia's review. She provided this link to read the book for free. I found that I didn't have to sign in to complete the book, as long as I was willing to sit there and keep reading. I stayed up until 3 am to complete (I found the book just when I was going to bed at 1 am when playing the game). Here is the link if you're interested - https://www.wattpad.com/345067882-not...

Normally I would have given this book 3 stars; but, realizing this was a self published author whom was just starting and how much potential I saw in this story, I gave it four stars. Yes, there were some mistakes and editing goofs, but the story was interesting enough, that I found myself wishing the author had written a longer version of the book. I was vested enough in the characters I wanted to here more of their backstory, learn more about this "world" that the characters lived in. For me it felt like the story was part of an anthology and was taken from a more developed series. I felt like I was at a tasting menu of a new restaurant and now wanted a complete meal.

I feel this author has a bright future ahead of them in this genre of writing and just needs someone to help guide their way a bit to flesh out their short story idea and help them flesh it out to turn it into a multi book series.

I decided to read this as a quick palate cleanser between reading really bad books, and I found it quite a pleasant breath of fresh air. I'm in a book club where we purposefully read bad books because we love being in pain, and I gotta tell you, this is not the worst thing out there. I'm not about to say it was the best book I've read this year either, but it's pretty fun for what it is. It's definitely a wattpad story, that's very true. The writing is a little awkward, it feels very juvenile, and a lot of it functions like a bad fanfiction. But the romance was halfway decent, the conflict was clear-cut and followed through, and there were times I really genuinely enjoyed the story. I think my favorite part was when a character named Jason walked into the room, delivered a massive plot twist, and then turned around and walked away, never to be seen again. That was just iconic. If you go in not expecting a fully polished story and just want something fun and dramatic, it's a great read. But if you don't like things that are a little cringe in a very charming sort of way, you probably won't like this.

I read this book on an app called Readict after getting an advertisem*nt on Facebook and I was pleasantly surprised! I wish there was a way to just purchase the book outright because it's definitely one I would have added to my collection. Yes, there were some grammatical errors and minor holes in the story but those things aside I really enjoyed the book.
It's a high school, werewolf, angsty, semi-smutty love story and really enjoyed it. The main character's name is Raine who is somewhat of a nobody. Her only wish is to find her mate, but when she does he ends up being in love with someone else. The characters were all very likable and the story started off strong, but I was a little underwhelmed by the ending. It seemed rush and not well developed. If the ending would have been stronger it would have been 5/5 stars from me.
